The pictures were taken at Jesberg Castle in North Hesse. The bascinet with removable aventail protects the head. The fist shield is covered with rawhide and has a forged small buckler. The linen separate hose are an early form and are attached to the doublet with only one lace with aiglets. A simple linen pouch serves as a bag. The garter made of natural leather with a tinned buckle completes the garment.
